Ralph Lauren Elegance

Talk about being ahead of the game. There was a viewing of Ralph Lauren’s ¬†Fall/Winter 2014/2015 collection. Never failing to amaze with his beautiful lines, stomach classic elegance and lovely fabrics. Below are a few of my favorite from the collection. View the entire show here.

Baby, It’s Cold Outside

by kristy

Here is the harsh truth that we have to face – Winter, more about is friggen cold. But do not fret, for this does not mean we must lose our sartorial flair (wink face). The key to being fashionable while staying warm; Layer and layer. Let’s start with legs. For ladies, either wearing thin tights under your jeans/pants is a good trick. Or sweater tights are wonderfully warm. On top – Start with a long sleeve simple top. Layer on top a printed blouse, then a cashmere sweater letting the collar and the bottom of the sleeve hang out. We aren’t finished….Layer a zip up of some sort (cardigan, hooded sweat shirt, leather jacket), then a wool coat! Warm yet? Fun colored hats, gloves and scarves is a great (happy) accessory. Feets- I don’t care what anyone says, duck boots are cute and functional. Or any winter/waterproof boot. Patent leather combat boots for the more daring. Below I have collected some inspirational winer laying as examples. Keep warm!!
